The Children's Charter
The Club aims to ensure that through our work with children, each child will be:
- Welcomed into a safe, warm and caring environment with a happy atmosphere.
- Regarded as an individual, listened to, have their feelings respected and their opinions valued.
- Cared for by skilled, qualified and experienced staff who understand the needs of children.
- Given praise and encouragement, opportunities to succeed and an environment where positive behaviour is promoted.
- Encouraged to develop self-discipline and consideration for others and the environment.
- Given access to stimulating, fun and creative activities supportive of each child's stage of development which encourages the all round development if the child.
- Provided with opportunities to realise their full potential, to learn new skills, develop confidence and a positive self-image.

The Club aims to reflect and meet the needs of the local community, and to incorporate equal opportunities into all areas of its day to day running.
As play workers we strive to be sensitive to the needs of all the children attending the Club. Individuals will not be discriminated against because of ethnicity or any other discrimination. The Club is committed to positive action to remove/counter discrimination in all aspects of its work.
Language or behaviour that is deemed offensive to any group or individual is not acceptable at the Club, and will not be tolerated. We will deal with any inappropriate language or behaviour in accordance with our behaviour policy. The club will strive to promote non-stereotypical traditions, values and environments in all its activities and play equipment and will promote positive images around the club.
